Archivist's note
Due to a confusion with the name of the Archives Section (previously League of Nations Archives), until 2023, the Brochures and Pamphlets collection were considered as coming from the League of Nations. In 2023, thanks to the reading of the Brochures and Pamphlets Index realized by U.-M. Ruser, Archivist, in August 1994, it was realized that the Brochures and Pamphlets collection was coming from the International Peace Bureau (IPB) and not the League of Nations (LON). The correction was made on the platform. However, as map catalogs (of the time of the League of Nations) were found in 2022 in a cabinet in an office in the Palais des Nations during the LONTAD project, before it was known that the Brochures and Pamphlets was part of IPB and not LON, the decision was taken to add the maps catalog to the Brochures and Pamphlets collection. With the correction made on the provenance of the collection from LON to IPB, the map catalogs and the reference code were changed even though neither is consistent to be in that collection now.
Archivist's note
When the BPC was physically organized in 2023, boxes LON 101 - LON 122 were stored in a separate area, and labelled differently from the rest of the collection, i.e., IPBL_C 1 – IPBL_C 23. Box 23 was combined with Box 22, and all boxes were moved into sequence with the rest of Brochure and Pamphlet Collection, as LON 101 - LON 122.
