The Deutsches Friedenskartell was founded in 1922 and served as liaison between several German pacifist organizations until 1929 when its activities seem to have ceased. One of its most important activities was the Exhibition "Friedensbewegung und Friedensarbeit in allen Ländern" which was held in several cities in the year 1927-1929.
Repository
Archival history
For many years, this collection was stored in 10 boxes under the identification code D II 1 to 10. Most of the material concerning the exhibition was kept in one large box before it was finally rearranged : all posters were separated and unfolded and are now kept as IPM/Qui/Posters as part of the League of Nations Archives Poster Collection. All photos were taken from this box and integrated in the International Peace Movement (IPM) Photo Collection, which is also kept as part of the LON Archives Photo Collection.
