The experts from Italy and the United Kingdom this morning submitted jointly to the Sub-Commission on Prevention of Discrimination and Protection of Minorities a draft preamble to a proposed international convention on the elimination of all forms of racial discrimination. Statements in the general debate on a proposed convention were made by the experts from the Philippines, Poland, Austria, USSR, United States, India, and France, and by an observer from the International Confederation of Free Trade Unions.
Here, addressing the meeting, is Mr. Peter Calvocoressi, expert from the United Kingdom. At right is Mr. Jean-Marcel Bouquin, expert from France.
