In celebration of its thirtieth anniversary this year, the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) today opened an exhibition at UN Headquarters of photographs and posters illustrating its work. The Agency was founded in 1957 to foster peaceful uses of atomic energy worldwide and to advise member Governments on their nuclear programmes.
