This series contains publications on Droit International and is comprised of 264 titles ranging in date from 1897 to 1971 (with greatest coverage in the 1920s and 1930s), containg brochures, bulletins, documents, Festschriften, journals, pamphlets, reprints and theses. Duplicate copies (16) and periodical issues (15) are included but not indifucually numbered. Publications concern 30 different countries and are written in 10 different languages, some items having several translations. All topics relate to International Law and include: the roles and rights of Diplomats; principles of the Geneva Convention; individual rights; international congresses; needs for, uses of and codification of International Law; government documents and reports of mediated disputes and tribunal documents; member lists; nationality laws; navigation and territory rights (water and air); the question of neutrality; political ideologies; schools of INternational Law in France, Italy, Spain, Switzerland, the U.S., and The Hague; sovereignty of peoples; trade laws; treaties; treaty-making powers of countries and issues relating to the World Court and World peace in general.

Many of these items are rare even though reprints and government documents may possibley be available elsewhere. However, this collection is very useful and interesting for researchers working on International Law questions.

Most documents are written in English or French, some in German and very few in other languages. They deal mostly with child aid organizations, children as war victims, the legal status of children, conferences on these issues, children's homes and also birth control and the protection of mothers.

Publications concern 12 different countries and are written in 9 different languages, some items having several translations. All topics relate to Minorities and Minorities Law and include: Anti-semitism and relations with Jewish minorities; boundary disputes; folk art and cultural differences; laws of different peoples; societies and institutes; war crimes and world peace.

Many of these items are rare even though reprints and government documents may be available elsewhere.

This series is comprised of 870 titles ranging in dates from 1912-1959 (with the majority of items dated in the 1920s-1940s). The material - brochures, pamphlets, scripts, leaflets, posters, flyers and newspaper clippings - concerns peace societies and peace work in 10 different countries and is written in 8 different languages. Some publications have several translations, including a few items in Esperanto. Duplicate copies are included and individually numbered. Plubcations illustrate the activities of international peace societies such as the Federal Council of Churches in America, National Peace Council, League of Free Nations Association, World Movement for World Federal Government, Society of Friends (Quakers), Carnegie Endowment for International Peace and League to Abolish War. This series also has extensive coverage on teh work of the National Council for Prevention of War.

This series is comprised of a total of 296 titles (included, but not indvidually numbered: 28 duplicated copies and 2 periodical issues). Brochures, reviews, booklets, documents, maps, pamphlets and reprints that were titled in this series referred to 22 countries. They were written in 12 languages and some have several translations. The period covered in this series ranges between 1917 and 1946, with the majority relating to the 1910s and 1920s. Topics of the publications are peace movements and their worldwide historical development as well as the activities of peace associations and societies. They also include thoughts and opinions of various authors on the question of peace and war and on the concept of the united world and permanent peace which might be accomplished by a universally recognised code of international law or the voluntary establishment of an organization that went beyond the confines of national culture.

The period covered in this series ranges beetween 1917 and 1946, with the majority relating to the 1920s. Topics in this series include: laws and statutes on Mandates, System of Mandates and League of Nations , texts of Mandates, articles on question of Mandate, relationship and correspondence between administration of mandatory countries (e.g. British Empire, France and Belgium) and local communities, annual reports to the Council of the League on the situation in the mandated territories, folk art and cultural differences, laws of different peoples and world peace.

Many of these items are rare even though reprints and government documents may possibley be available elsewhere. However, this collection is very useful and interesting for researchers working on issues related to Mandates.
