Extract from "The Times": following S. Lester's report on his difficult relationships, in the exercise of his functions, with the Danzig Nazi Government and A. Greiser, President of the Senate, because of their policy of non-cooperation, systematic obstruction, and repression, as well as their numerous attacks on S. Lester in the Press and in speeches, the Polish Government was designated to settle the situation on behalf of the League of Nations Council; in reaction Nazi leaders proclaimed that Danzig was and would remain Nazi.
