The Poles obtained the withdrawal by the Danzig Senate of the decree of 1st August opening the Danzig frontiers freely to foreign goods of certain categories, the payment of customs duties in zloty and the promise that regarding the traffic, if necessary, the State Banks will have pourparlers; Danzig obtained the withdrawal of the Polish Customs decree of 18 July 1935, no use of the zloty in port and railway work, and the reaffirmation of the full use Harbour Agreement for the development of Danzig traffic of 18 September 1933.

Incidents in Danzig at an official dinner given by S. Lester in honour of visiting officers of the German Navy: President A. Greiser and some Nazis left abruptly the reception because of the presence of some members of the Opposition, incident immediately exploited by the Danzig radio station and newspapers, which obliged S. Lester to publicly refute their statement.
