As part of the second UN International Conference on the Peaceful Uses of Atomic Energy, meeting in Geneva from September 1 to 13, the UN Scientific Exhibition was inaugurated today. This exhibition, in the Palais des Nations grounds, will be open to the public and scientists throughout the duration of the Conference. It will show scientisfic equipment and models from 20 participating governments on the peaceful applications of atomic energy, in their countries.
