This file contains telegrams, photos, translations of letters and notes raising amongst others the question of the competence of the office in dealing with certain requests as documented by notes exchanged between Major T.F. Johnson [Secretary-General from 1931] and G. Zwerner [member of staff]. The file includes samples of passports proposed by private persons to the Nansen International Office for Refugees.
This file contains requests for information about F. Nansen refugee work but also a specimen of his signature. It includes a request of Jon Sorensen in Kloefta, Norway, author of Fridtjof Nansens Saga.
Correspondence and press cutting mainly in Norwegian regarding the publication of a brochure written by Ms. Nansen, Fridtjof Nansen's widowed wife, for Nansen-Hjelp and LON proposed to provide free of charge an illustrated cover for the brochure. Most of the correspondence is exchanged between Ms. Nansen and the president of the governing body, Michael Hansson.

Reports and statistics prepared by the Direction Générale de la Croix rouge russe [the old organisation of the Russian Red Cross], represented by Mr. Mourawieff-Apostol on the use of the fund (subsidy) for the management of several establishments.
