This file concerns 36 refugee women who have been imprisoned for lack of means to evacuate Stamboul, they are prostitutes and the ILO delegate, Mr. Raymond Schlemmer, seeks support for their protection. Contacts are established with the head of the Social Section, Dame Rachel Crowdy, to obtain information on societies helping foreign prostitutes.
