(1) files constituted by the Secretariat until 1924;
(2) the files constituted by ILO from 1925 to 1929 inclusive;
(3) files constituted successively by the Secretariat for use by the Transit, Political and Social Sections from 1925 to 1929 inclusive;
and what type of records remain with which office after the creation of the International Nansen Office for the Refugees, an independent office to deal with refugee affairs.
M. O. Hudson was Bemis Professor of International Law at the Harvard Law School, working on a publication entitled "International Legislation, 1919-1929" at the opening of the file. Besides his correspondence for the attention of Major Johnson, a list entitled "International Legislation 1919-1929 - A collection of the texts of multipartite international instruments concluded during the decade following the World War" is also included in this file. Also a member of the Legal Section of the League according to the LONSEA source.
File contains miscellaneous correspondence mainly relating to prisoners of war in various European countries. File was created after the transfer of the League Secretariat to Geneva.
V. Kehren was the Honorary Delegate of the High Commissioner for Refugees in Belgium from May 26, 1930. He was replaced by Armand Coubaux in 1932 during six months and then by Mr.Coubaux's son Robert Coubaux. The file contains correspondence between the Geneva Office (HCR then Nansen International Office) and the Belgian authorities, subsequently with V. Kehren, correspondence regarding nomination of Mr. Kehren as "délégué bénévole", prolongation of Mr. Kehren's mission and succession by Mr. Coubaux, budget and accounts.
